From a leisure prospective, there is Murrayfield International Rugby Stadium, the home of Scottish Rugby. In addition every year between the 1st of August & the 6th of September Edinburgh hosts The Edinburgh International Festival, International Film Festival, The Fringe and the Jazz Festival.

Many visitors come from all around the world to take part or to watch the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a spectacle really worth seeing, it seems to get better each year, culminating on the final night (around the 5/6th of September) in a massive & unforgettable fireworks display.

All venues are once again only a few minutes walk or drive from the Ardleigh.
